Love with a Twist

Happy Valentine’s/Palentine’s, whatever you’re celebrating.

Last night I missed out on pancakes (Shrove Tuesday for those outside of the UK) but was able to see my first piece of fiction in print! Late last year I submitted a short piece for an anthology titled Love with a Twist. As you can imagine this is a collection of stories which turn the traditional love story on its head in some way. The authors submitting were able to interpret as they saw fit.

I was really happy to have made it in with a piece titled ‘Flowers’ and to top off the night I also got to read this story out to the audience. A lot of writers were signing each other’s copies, which was a really great feeling of camaraderie.
